If Open Sharing is turned on for your district, users can share to the School Content or District Content tabs within My Content.
Even with Open sharing, District or Site admins and any other respective users who need it will still need to be set up as content approvers in order to allow for content that is shared to school or district folders to be deleted, etc. by them. This is done by either:
- Log into Discovery Education and open My Content. Next, click Settings and temporarily change to Controlled. Select users who have "approval" rights for respective district and/or school, and then click Save Changes. Once the settings are changed, make sure to go back into settings and move the sharing back to OPEN.
- Alternatively, log into Discovery Education and click the My Admin tile. Then, click on a user, select User Role and then set them to Sharing Approver - Account or Sharing Approver - Site, or both and the click Submit to save.
