Teachers: Opening a Classroom
Note: Administrators can impersonate a teacher and follow these directions. Click here to open directions on how to impersonate a teacher.
To open a student for editing you need to open their classroom first. To open a classroom:
- Click the Global Nav icon on your Homepage.
- Select Classrooms.
Teachers: Selecting a Student to Edit
Note: If your district/school sets up and updates students and educator accounts through Bulk Import-Single Sign-On or another tool like Clever or ClassLink, all changes to student names, grade level, username and password, or student IDs should be made by your district IT staff. Any manual changes to student accounts you make in your Experience dashboard will be will be eliminated in the next data sync.
- After you have opened the Classrooms page, click the classroom you want to open.
- When the classroom opens, click Students.
- When the classroom roster opens, click the three dots next to the student account that needs to be edited, and then select Edit.
Teachers: Editing a Student
Note: If your district/school uses Clever or ClassLink to automate updating student and educator accounts, all changes to student names, grade level, username and password, and student IDs should be made by your district IT staff. Any manual changes you make to student accounts in your DE dashboard will be replaced with what the district IT team shares.
- After you have opened a student account for editing, update the student account information that needs to be changed and then click Save to save your changes.
Note: DO NOT change the Student ID if the student is using DreamBox Math. Instead, reach out to our Customer Support Team for their help.
Site Administrator Instructions

Admins: Opening MyAdmin as an Administrator
- Click the Global Nav icon on your Homepage.
- Select Admin Dashboard.
Admins: Selecting and Editing a Student

- From the My Admin Home page, select Users.

- From the Users page, enter the student search details and click Search. From the Search results, click the three dots next to the student you want to edit and select Edit Profile.

- Update the student profile fields that need to be edited and click Save Profile to save your updates.
