If your district/school sets up and updates students and educator accounts through Bulk Import-Single Sign-On or another tool like Clever or ClassLink, all changes to teacher accounts should be made by your district IT staff. Any manual changes to student accounts you make in your Experience dashboard will be eliminated in the next data sync. |
Teachers and site administrators follow different steps to remove a teacher from a classroom.
Teacher Instructions
Teachers: Opening the Classrooms Page

To remove a teacher from your classroom you need to open the Classrooms page first. To open the Classrooms page:
- If you don't see the navigation pane on the left side of the screen, click the Global Nav icon on your Homepage.
- When the navigation pane opens, select Classrooms.
Teachers: Removing a Teacher from your Classroom

- Click the three dots next to the classroom name and select Manage this class.

- When the Manage Classroom page opens, click Teachers.

- When the list of educators at your school opens, click Remove next to the educator who should be removed from your classroom.

- The Remove button will disappear and be replaced by an Add button, confirming the teacher has been added to your classroom.

Admins: Opening My Admin as an Administrator
| District administrators will follow similar instructions. |
- Click the Global Nav icon on your Homepage.
- Select Admin Dashboard.
Admins: Removing a Teacher from a Classroom

After you have opened MyAdmin:
- Click the number next to Classrooms in the School Details section or click Classrooms near the top of the page.

- When the Classrooms page opens, either search for the classroom you need or scroll through the list of all classrooms. When you have found the classroom you need, click the classroom name.

- When the selected Classroom page opens, click Manage Classroom and select Edit Classroom.

- In the Teachers field, click the X next to the name of the teacher you want to remove.

- The teacher name will disappear from the Teachers field. Click Save to save your changes to the classroom.

| District adAfter you delete a teacher, you may see the Teachers drop-down list of additional teachers you could add. If this happens and you do not want to add a different teacher, click outside Classroom Details section. |
