Overview
Any video that includes closed captions also includes a transcript to support teaching and learning.
To open the transcript, click on the Transcript tab below the video. Our interactive transcripts include many features:
- As the video plays, the transcript moves along, highlighting the spoken text.
- The search box can be used to find keywords in the transcript.
- The transcript also allows you to click on any line and it will jump to that part of the video.
Browser translation tools, such as Google Translate, can be used to translate the transcript as well. While this won't translate the video, it will translate the transcript for students. This allows students to hear the English but see the words in their native language.
