Use search strategies to locate ready-to-use resources, such as lessons and activities, as well as interactives, videos, images, songs, sound effects, encyclopedia articles, audio files, and more. Use Filter by Standards to search and discover standards-aligned content.
Keyword Search
Use the Global Search bar to perform targeted keyword searches. The search results display all titles that match your keywords. Note that you can revisit your recent searches.

Filter Search Results
Filter your search results to tailor resources to the specific needs of students. You can apply the following filters:
- Filter By Standards. Only available for Experience, narrow down your search results by state or academic standards. Note that when you turn this filter on, accessibility to other filters is turned off. Learn more about State & Academic Standards resources here.
- Resource Group. Narrow down your search results by resource type.
- Grade: Narrow down your search results by grade band.
If you need to filter further, select Filters: If available, you can narrow down your search results by Products, Tags, Types, Copyright, Publishers, Reading Levels, and more.
Look for the NEW flag on a resource. This indicates it was added to Discovery Education in the last 60 days.
Search Card Components
When exploring your search results, the following are the key components of the search result asset card. Understanding these components helps you easily navigate search results.
- Duration: Length of the selected video
- Thumbnail: Image preview
- Category: Type of resource
- Title: Name of resource
- Language Filter: Available language(s) of resource
- Add to Favorites: Save a resource to your profile for easy access later. Learn more about Favorites.
- Additional Actions: Assign, Share, Save to My Content, Create with Studio
- Tags: Extra information about the resource
- Horizonal Scrolling: Navigate content to the left and right
- Show more: Read the complete resource description
- Video Segments: Number of segments in a video resource
- Current selection highlighted: Select full video, or a segment of video

From the Global Navigation menu in the top left, select Explore to access curated resources tailored to your grade level, subjects, and interests. Use the Browse by Subject option to further refine your search
