Searching for trusted, standards aligned grab-and-go resources built in Studio that are easy to implement? Quickly find, use, and assign the most relevant ready-to-use Studio lessons and activities. In this article find answers to the following questions:

How do I use Keyword Search to find ready-to-use resources?
Begin your search by utilizing the Global Search bar. Enter specific keywords related to the resource you need. This search will return all titles matching your keywords, allowing you to easily browse through them. You can revisit your recent searches at any time. Learn more about Search.
How do I filter ready-to-use resource Search results?
You can tailor your search results to better meet your needs by applying filters:
- Filter by Standards is available for users with access to Experience, allowing you to narrow down results by state or academic standards. Learn more here. Note that activating this filter will disable other filters.
- Resource Group helps you narrow results by resource type.
- Grade Band filters results based on grade levels.
If additional filtering is needed, use the Filters option. Look for the "NEW" flag on content, this indicates resources added in the last 60 days. Learn more about how to Search for Resources.
How do I preview ready-to-use resources?
Once you've searched, explore the results. Each search result is displayed as an asset card showing key information such as:
- Thumbnail image preview
- Resource Category
- Title of the resource
- Grade band
To view a resource in detail, click on its title or thumbnail. The Discovery Education authored ready-to-use resource opens in the Studio details page.
From this page, quickly access the following:
- All Slides or Pages included in the resource.
- A short Description of the resource.
- Grade band of the resource.
- Teacher Notes that include instructions and support for classroom presentation.
- Related Keywords that allow you to browse related content.
- Asset Included In which allows you to browse which Channels this ready-to-use resource is a part of.
- More Educational Resources Like This which allows you to browse resources connected to this content.
- More Activity Resources Like This which allows you to browse activities connected to this content.
How do I share ready-to-use resources?
Once you have reviewed the ready-to-use resource and would like to use it with your class, the following options are available from the top action bar:
- View as Student
- Present to Class
- Assign
- More options
View as Student
Enable View as Student to see how students interact with the resource. The left sidebar shows a list of all Slides or Pages, giving an overview of the assignment's length. The preview slides automatically open, but students can hide them if they want.
The tags at the top of the resource guide students on their current position in the lesson or activity and outline the steps for the current slide. For example, a "Video" tag indicates a video is available and the Slide is not complete until it is watched.
Present to Class
When you select Present to Class, the ready-to-use resource opens in full screen. From the top action bar, you can do the following:
- Use the arrows to move through the presentation and the drop down menu to jump to a specific location.
- From Tools, quickly access Teacher Notes for teacher supports or apply Immersive Reader for student supports.
- Exit Fullscreen from the 3-dot menu
Assign to Students
Select the Assign button from the top action bar and choose how to assign. You have two options:

More Options
From the top action bar, navigate to the 3-dot menu. From here, you can do the following:
- Copy & Edit: Copy the ready-to-use resource and make edits in Studio editor to meet classroom needs.
- Share: Copy the resource link and share with others.
- Add to My Content: Save and access later. Learn more here.
- Add to Favorites: Save and access later. Learn more here.
- Print Preview: Choose between Full Page Slides, which do not include Teacher Notes, or Notes Pages, which include Teacher Notes.
