Discovery Education audio includes songs, sound effects, and other audio, which can include podcasts, audiobooks, short stories, poetry, historic speeches, and more.
Discovery Education audio resources include many of the same features and functionality of other resources. Audio resources can be assigned to students, saved to your Favorites, organized into folders in My Content, and shared with students and teachers.
More information about an audio file is available beneath the audio player including description of the audio, suggested grade ranges, the publisher, and dynamic citations for the audio. Some audio has associated teacher’s guides, transcripts, speech guides, or song lyrics. If available, these assets are found in Materials.
The embedded audio player streams audio for instant listening. Use the player to pause audio, adjust its volume, or loop the audio by selecting the circled arrow.
Download audio for a variety of project and instructional uses. To download an audio file, select the Download button. Depending upon your browser or device, you may want to right-click on the Download button and select a destination for the audio to save. Audio downloads into the MP3 format, a versatile file type for use in presentations, editing software, and personal audio players.
