NFL Play 60: The American Heart Association and the National Football League, working together with Discovery Education, have joined forces to amplify NFL PLAY 60’s reach and impact by inspiring physically active lifestyles in schools and homes nationwide. With a custom set of lessons, videos and interactive activities, students nationwide will have the tools they need to get the necessary 60 minutes or more of physical activity each day.

Operation Prevention: In response to the national opioid epidemic, the Drug Enforcement Administration and Discovery Education joined forces to create Operation Prevention, a program that uses education to combat and prevent prescription opioid misuse and heroin use among youth at no cost to teachers or parents. Operation Prevention's mission is to educate students about the impacts of opioids and kick-start lifesaving conversations in the home and classroom. These resources provide educators with engaging tools that are aligned to national health and science standards and integrate seamlessly into classroom instruction. Through a series of hands-on investigations, students are introduced to the science behind opioids and their impact on the brain and body.

Red Ribbon Week: Red Ribbon Week is an alcohol, tobacco, and other drug and violence prevention awareness campaign observed annually in October in the United States. Established in 1985 to honor the memory of Drug Enforcement Agent Enrique (Kiki) Camarena, the Red Ribbon campaign symbolizes a commitment to raise awareness of the destruction caused by drugs in America.
