Any manual changes to classrooms, student, or teacher accounts you make in your Experience dashboard will be eliminated in the next data sync. |
Opening the All Classrooms Page
- If you don't see the navigation pane on the left side of the screen, click the Global Nav icon on your Homepage.
- When the navigation pane opens, select Classrooms.
Creating a New Classroom

- From the All Classrooms page, select Create Class.
- When the Create Classroom window opens, type the classroom name and description (optional) and click Save.
- When the Manage Classroom page opens, click Edit Theme, select the image you want to add to your classroom, and click Save.

Updating Classroom Name and Description

- From the All Classrooms page, click the three dots next to the name of the classroom you want to update and select Manage this class.
- When the Manage Classroom page opens, edit the classroom name and/or description and click Save to save your changes.
- Click Classrooms in the left navigation pane to see your changes on the All Classrooms page.
Generating Individual or Classroom QR Codes
Students can use QR codes to sign in to Discovery Education regardless of the way they sign in with a text password. Teachers can generate or regenerate student QR codes for all or multiple students in a classroom using the Bulk Generate QR Code tool.

Generating Individual or Classroom Direct Sign-in Text Passwords
Teachers can set or reset the Direct Login text passwords for all students in a classroom using the Bulk Reset Password tool. When teachers generate student passwords in bulk, they can also save a classroom list of student usernames and passwords.
