Discovery Education images can be viewed and saved in a variety of sizes to best match your instructional goals or project needs.
Search Results
View Discovery Education images, including photography, maps, clip art, diagrams, models, illustrations, fine art, and more, follow these steps:
- Navigate to More in the top action bar
- Select Images
- Click on an image to open in Full View
Full View
Full View provides access to all the features of Discovery Education images. More information about an image is available throughout the page including a description of the image, suggested grade ranges, the publisher, and dynamic citations for the image. Images can be downloaded for a variety of project and instructional uses.
To download an image file, select Download and choose the image size that best fits your needs. Image sizes are:
- Small - the smallest file size, this image size works well for thumbnails or when little visual detail is needed
- Medium - this multi-purpose size balances image clarity with file size and works well for presentations and multimedia projects
- Large - these images offer tremendous detail and work well for zooming and cropping, but often have a large file size when downloaded
Depending upon your browser or device, you may want to right-click on the Download button and select a destination for the image file to save. Use the menu on the side of the image to assign the resource to students, or add it to Favorites or add to My Content for easy access later.
