Sharing Resources
Discovery Education offers direct integration with Learning Management Systems such as Google Classroom, Schoology, Canvas, and Microsoft Teams. Check with your district to know if you have any of these integrations. | LEARN MORE ABOUT OUR LEARNING MANAGEMENT SYSTEM INTEGRATIONS.
Even without a Learning Management System, it is easy to share and assign Discovery Education resources with students.
If you assign resources to students, the teacher will need to have created a classroom within Discovery Education and add students to that class. Once a resource is assigned, it will appear on the student’s Discovery Education homepage when they log in for quick and easy access. | LEARN MORE ABOUT ASSIGNING CONTENT TO STUDENTS.
Alternatively, sharing a resource means you get a URL to the resource to place somewhere for students to access. Students must be logged into Discovery Education to view the resource. We often suggest that students log into Discovery Education before clicking on any resource links. These links can also be used to share content between teachers and staff. | LEARN MORE ABOUT SHARING CONTENT.
DE Tools
Studio, our content creation tool, allows teachers to design engaging lesson activities for students with DE resources or your own uploaded content. Additionally, students can share their learning by becoming creators and make their own board or slideshow. | LEARN MORE ABOUT STUDIO.
Exclusive to our Full Discovery Education Partners, create a video, standard, or ask live quiz and launch it live to students to check for understanding at any time in a lesson.
